Wall Street trades higher in premarket, Dow up 200 pts

Untied States stocks continued to trade in the green on Friday during the premarket trade on Wall Street as investors focused on a string of corporate results as the earnings season kicked off with JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo already releasing their results before the opening bell. Meanwhile, market watchers also remained hopeful about the trade negotiations outcome between the US and China. An important Chevron deal also boosted investment incentives in the energy sector.

The Dow Jones traded 0.79% higher, adding 206 points at 8:12 am ET while the S&P 500 rose 0.58% at the same time. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 increased 0.53% at 8:13 am ET.

The euro jumped 0.59% against the US dollar to go for 1.1319 at 8:16 am ET.
