DoJ talked to White House about Mueller's findings - report

United States Department of Justice (DoJ) officials "have had numerous conversations with White House lawyers" about Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on the Russia probe, wrote the New York Times. Sources with knowledge of the meetings said the information provided by the DoJ in recent days has "aided the president’s legal team as it prepares a rebuttal" to Mueller's findings, which will be released to the public on Thursday.

US Attorney General William Barr said he will also hold a press conference on Thursday where he is expected to further explain his controversial four-page summary of Mueller's report. Barr faced condemnation from Democrats, as well as a federal judge, who expressed doubts about Barr's conduct and the lack of transparency surrounding the Russia probe.
