US shares lower in premarket after break

Shares on Wall Street were lower in premarket trade on Monday following the Easter break.

Corporate earnings season continues to be the focal point for investors this week. Twitter, Snap, Boeing, Facebook, and Tesla will all post quarterly results later in the week, among other companies. In economic data, existing home sales figures will be released shortly after the opening bell.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.14%, the S&P 500 lost 0.18%, while the Nasdaq 100 dipped 0.28% all at 4:15 am ET.

The euro was flat against the dollar at 4:21 am Et, buying 1.1244.
