Wall Street opens higher following positive earnings

Major stock markets in the United States started Tuesday's trading session slightly higher following the mostly positive earnings reports. US President Donald Trump accused Twitter of discrimination, claiming the social media giant didn't treat him "well as a Republican." American Oil and gas company Murphy Oil Corp announced it has bought LLOG Exploration Offshore LLC's Gulf of Mexico assets for $1.375 billion.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was 0.07% higher right after the opening bell, with UnitedHealth Group Inc. rising 2.42%. The Nasdaq 100 increased 0.12% as Hasbro surged 15.23%. The S&P 500 was up as well, rising 0.07% at the same time, helped by Marathon Oil Crop's 6.58% jump.

The euro was down 0.21% to $0.86544 at 10:29 am ET, while the pound fell 0.23% to $1.29502 concurrently.
