Report: UK Cabinet favors indicative votes over talks with Labour

British Prime Minister Theresa May is dealing with weakening faith in negotiations with Labour among her Cabinet members, who are increasingly coming out in favour of more indicative votes in Parliament after the European elections, the Times reported. Finance minister Philip Hammond (pictured left) has allegedly said that the negotiations are based on a "false premise" that a sensible deal with Labour is possible. In late April, Hammond has expressed confidence that "common ground" will be reached with the largest opposition party.

Ministers have already urged May to abandon talks with Labour and will continue to do so in a meeting on Monday, when they plan to urge for a timetable of indicative votes, according to the report.
