Crude drops to lowest since February

Oil prices continued to fall, reaching lows unseen since early February. Iran warned that any military action in the Persian Gulf would "push oil prices above $100" which would be "unbearable" to the United States and its allies. Meanwhile, Exxon Mobil Corp. stated its personnel will return to its offices in Basra, Iraq on Sunday. The company's employees were evacuated from the site in May due to safety risks.

WTI for settlements in August fell by 2.20% and sold for $52.37 per barrel at 6:28 pm ET while Brent for deliveries in August dropped 1.51% to sell for $60.83 per barrel at 6:40 pm ET.
