Asian markets mostly lower after Trump's China comments, data

Asian markets traded mostly lower on Wednesday after United States President Donald Trump said that he will not accept a trade deal with China that is bad for the US. Trump also said that America is taking billions of dollars out of China tariffs and fighting China's chronic abuse. Traders also kept an eye on economic data coming from China where consumer prices went up 2.7% in May.

China's Shanghai Composite was down 0.17% at 4:03 am CET. Shenzhen Composite also traded 0.0014% lower at the same time.

South Korean Kospi Composite traded 0.11% lower at 4:04 am CET.

Japanese Nikkei 225 was up 0.15% at 4:05 am CET. The dollar traded 0.02% lower against the yen, to go for 108.4835 the same time.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng traded 0.83% lower at 4:06 am CET.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 went up 0.01% at 4:07 am CET.
