Wall Street turns positive premarket after earnings

United States stocks turned positive in premarket trading on Tuesday after several major companies posted better-than-expected quarterly results. JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Johnson and Johnson all beat estimates in the second quarter, while Wells Fargo is set to announce its earnings shortly.

The Dow Jones gained 0.12% premarket at 7:51 am ET, the S&P 500 added 0.06%, while the Nasdaq 100 was up 0.04%, at the same time. The euro declined 0.31% against the dollar to sell for 1.12233 at 7:51 am ET.
