Dow reverses losses, jumps 100 points

The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped over 130 points on Wednesday following the Energy Information Administration (EIA) report on crude oil inventories in the United States which decreased by 10 million barrels in the past week. Commodity companies were among the biggest gainers in the index with Exxon Mobil Corp, Dow Inc and Chevron Corp all trading higher.

The Dow rose 0.46% at 10:59 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 was flat, increasing 0.02% at 11 am ET and the S&P 500 was 0.34% in the green at the same time.

The euro was 0.13% down against the dollar, going for 1.10766 at 11:01 am ET.
