Reports: WeWork IPO could be delayed

The parent company of WeWork, We Company, is considering delaying the office-sharing startup's initial public offering, several reports citing sources with knowledge of the matter said.

The decision to possibly postpone its highly-anticipated IPO until at least October comes amid growing investor concern about the company's worth. WeWork also recently announced changes to its corporate governance structure to address similar worries.

Shares of SoftBank, WeWork's largest backer, plunged nearly 5% at the start of trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
