Biden: Trump should be impeached

Former Vice-President of the United States and 2020 presidential hopeful Joe Biden declared on Wednesday his support for the ongoing impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, saying that Trump "has violated his oath of office, betrayed this nation." Biden went on to say that Trump is ready to "do everything he can to remain in power" even remove officials from office if he is "threatened."

"This is not just an academic exercise in apolitical theory," he warned addressing the crowd at a rally in Rochester, New Hampshire, saying that "the president who puts his own self-interest ahead of public good and national security" also "poses a threat to security in our everyday lives."

He then quickly turned to Trump's refusal to let the US public see the president's tax returns as yet another evidence of him being unfit for office. "I've released 21 years of tax returns," Biden noted, wondering what is hidden in Trump's if he is so staunchly opposed to releasing them.
