Kremlin mulls Putin-Trump meeting in November

Russia will look into the possibility of a meeting between its President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

American and Russian leaders would have the encounter next month at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Chile. According to Peskov, the Kremlin would give its best to make it happen, even though there are no official plans or a timetable for a meeting.

Trump and Putin have met six times so far, last time during a Group of 20 summit in Osaka, Japan, in June of last year.
