Opposition obstructs Q&A session of Hong Kong's Lam

Unrest continued in the Legislative Council of Hong Kong as prodemocracy lawmakers openly showed discontent with the authorities' policies. Opposition members of the local parliament were being thrown out one by one as they attempted to obstruct a session with questions for the autonomous region's chief executive Carrie Lam.

Individuals applied different methods including shouting, holding up signs and white flowers. Lam was forced one day earlier to leave the chamber amid pressure inside and to deliver her annual speech to a camera in a room.
