US stocks rise premarket with trade in focus

United States equities traded with modest gains premarket on Tuesday after the US President Donald Trump shared positive comments on his meeting with Federal Reserve President Jay Powell. Meanwhile, North Korea urged Washington to drop its "hostile policy" toward that country. The investors will have their focus on the trade talks between the US and China, waiting for any signs of progress after the United States Commerce Department previously yielded the pressure on Huawei by extending the company's US license for another three months.

The Home Depot, a retailer for home improvement equipment, is expected to release its quarterly results before the opening bell.

The Dow increased 0.27% at 4:31 am ET, to maintain the growth started on Monday. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 went up 0.31 % while the S&P 500 gained 0.22% at the same time.

The euro lost 0.08% against the dollar to go for 1.0662 at 4:31 am ET.
