Dow drops 100 pts amid fresh trade worries

United States stock markets traded with losses on Tuesday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipping more than 100 points after a report said that the US and China are still facing hurdles in an attempt to reach a trade agreement.

The Dow lost 0.44% at 10:55 am ET as The Home Depot's stock slipped over 5% after the company announced its results for the third quarter earlier today. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 traded in the red as well, decreasing 0.22% as Western Digital Corporation shares dropped by nearly 4%. The S&P 500 slid 0.26% at the same time, with Kohl's Corp leading the losses as it plunged 18%.

The euro traded flat against the dollar, changing hands for 1.10783 at 11:02 am ET.
