DoJ internal inquiry to show no bias in Russia probe - report

The United States Department of Justice (DoJ) is set to release a report on an internal investigation and dismiss the claims that the so-called "Russia probe" was motivated by political animosity against US President Donald Trump, the Associated Press reported on Sunday, citing anonymous sources.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz (pictured) is scheduled to publish the report tomorrow and sources claim that the report is going to reveal that the FBI had valid grounds to start an investigation on alleged ties between Moscow and the current American president. However, it will point out certain errors in the inquiry process, such as altering documents on Trump's campaign advisor, Carter Page.

A separate internal DoJ probe, conducted by prosecutor John Durham, is expected to release more information when it gets finalized as it got "criminal investigation" status from the Department.
