Thunberg says she needs rest

Environmental activist Greta Thunberg called Italian people on Friday, to fight climate change in the decade to come. Speaking at the "Fridays for Future" rally in Turin, Thunberg said that "it is not fair that the old generations are handing over the responsibility to solve this crisis to the young people who have not started this crisis. It is not fair that we have to do all this". She also called out world politicians and "adults" saying they are "behaving as if there is no tomorrow."

After attending a United Nations' climate summit in Madrid and taking part in Turin rally, the young activist decided to spend her Christmas holidays with her family and take a rest for a while.

The 16-year-old from Sweden has recently become the youngest ever to be named TIME's Person of the Year.
