Europe higher in premarket amid earnings

Equities on major European stock markets were higher in premarket trade on Thursday after ArcelorMittal, UniCredit, ING, Sanofi and Equinor posted their quarterly numbers. In Germany, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reported a decrease in factory orders.

Meanwhile, Beijing will reportedly reduce tariffs on imports from the United States worth $75 billion.

The DAX gained 0.60% at 8:03 am CET. London's FTSE 100 increased by 0.47% at the same time, while the CAC 40 rose by 0.71% at 8:01 am CET.

The euro was flat compared to the dollar at 8:04 am CET, trading at 1.09988. The British pound lost 0.06% against the American currency, going for 1.29840 concurrently.
