US stocks inch higher premarket despite coronavirus fears

Stocks on Wall Street traded slightly higher premarket on Friday as the coronavirus's impact on the global economy remains the main topic among investors. According to Chinese officials, the outbreak's death toll rose to 1,380 on February 13. The United States brought racketeering charges against Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. Meanwhile, Nvidia Corp. reported its Q4 revenue jumped 41% to $3.11 billion.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was unchanged at 4:36 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.26%. A minute later, the S&P 500 increased 0.17%.

The euro was flat against the dollar at 4:37 am ET to sell for 1.08471. The pound slipped 0.12% to $1.30328 at 4:38 am ET.
