WH not considering hiring virus response coordinator
White House Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere dismissed reports that claimed that the United States President Donald Trump's administration is considering appointing a novel coronavirus (COVID-19) response coordinator.
"The President took decisive action by creating the Coronavirus Virus Task Force a month ago and is pleased with the leadership of @SecAzar [US Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar] to protect the public health," Deere wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
Earlier today, Trump praised his administration's measures aimed to contain the outbreak.
