S. Korea for first time sees more imported infections

Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) revealed on Thursday the number of imported COVID-19 infections in South Korea passed the domestically registered ones for the first time since the outbreak hit the nation.

Meanwhile, with 104 cases of the disease confirmed in the past twenty-four hours, the total nationwide number of cases reached 9,241.

The virus death toll in the country hit 131, as 5 new fatalities were reported during the previous day. In the meantime, 414 additional patients recovered from the illness, taking the nation's total to 4,144.
