Asia trades mixed amid uncertainties over virus

Shares on the Asia-Pacific markets traded mixed on Thursday as the coronavirus crisis renewed uncertainties among the investors. When it comes to the numbers, China continued soothing the spread while offering the world emergency medical assistance. Meanwhile, South Korea recorded more imported than domestic COVID-19 cases for the first time since the beginning of the outbreak in the country.

The Nikkei 225 sank 4.02% at 4:42 am CET, while the Kospi Composite rose 0.37% concurrently. Shanghai Composite lost 0.18% at 4:27 am CET, while Shenzhen Composite dropped 0.37% at the same time. Hang Seng declined 0.67% at 4:43 am CET, while the S&P/ASX 200 increased by 2.42% simultaneously.

The dollar was 0.49% lower compared to the yen, changing hands for ¥110.6635 at 4:44 am CET.
