South Korea reports 146 new COVID-19 cases

South Korea's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) registered on Saturday 146 new COVID-19 cases and five new deaths during the past 24 hours.

Out of almost 390,000 tests conducted by the KCDC since the start of the outbreak in the country, 9,478 have come positive, while 144 people died due to the disease so far.

The country's Kospi Composite Index closed 1.87% higher on Friday, recovering some losses as the situation slowly started returning to normal in the Far East.
