June WTI drops 47% amid oversupply concerns

Energy commodity prices dropped on Tuesday, with prices of oil, gasoil and heating oil all falling during the trading session as the coronavirus pandemic continued to impact global sentiment and stockpiling started being a serious issue.

June WTI went for $10.95 per barrel, falling 46.55% at 1:40 pm CET. Brent for June delivery lost 26.28% to go for $18.82 per barrel at 1:41 pm ET.

Meanwhile, gasoil futures for May fell 17.45% to $214 at 1:41 pm ET and heating oil for the same month lost 15.65% to go for $0.7597 at 1:07 pm ET.
