Italy to allow domestic travel from June 3 - reports

Italy will allow free movement within the country starting from June 3, Italian media reported on Friday.

The government's draft for the second phase of lifting containment measures includes resuming all commercial activities from May 18 and allowing the citizens to move between regions from June 3, a day after the National and Republic Day festivities.

The Apennine state has been in lockdown since March and has been one of the countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic with the national death toll of over 31,000.
