Trump wants to meet G7 leaders in person in June

United States President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he is planning to reschedule the G7 meeting that the US is supposed to host and meet world leaders for the first time in person since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump said on Twitter: "Now that our Country is “Transitioning back to Greatness”, I am considering rescheduling the G-7, on the same or similar date, in Washington, D.C., at the legendary Camp David. The other members are also beginning their COMEBACK. It would be a great sign to all - normalization!"

The US planned for the G7 meeting, which was set to take place from June 10 to June 12, to take place online just like many other multilateral meetings during the outbreak.
