Zuckerberg justifies not acting on Trump's posts

Facebook’s chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg reiterated on Tuesday that he stands by his decision of not meddling with provocative posts by the United States President Donald Trump even though a part of his employees walked off the job a day earlier due to Trump's post saying: "when the looting starts, the shooting starts."

A company spokeswoman stated that Zuckerberg said Facebook went through Trump’s posts and had every right to leave them unchallenged. He stated Trump didn’t violate company policy against incitements to violence.

Last week, Twitter put "public interest notice" on Trumps tweet while Facebook declined to act on the same message.
