Europe rises premarket as COVID-19 worries subside

Equities on European stock markets climbed in premarket trade on Wednesday as investors' concerns over the coronavirus outbreak diminished. For the second consecutive day, Spain reported no fatalities caused by the infection.

Meanwhile, French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi said it plans to finish human trials for its coronavirus vaccine by the end of the year.

The DAX gained 1.05% at 7:40 am CET while the FTSE 100 went up by 1.04% at the same time. The CAC 40 in Paris advanced 1.02%.

The euro added 0.30% to go for $1.12044 at 7:40 am CET.
