Alibaba Cloud to invest $283M in tech upgrades

Chinese cloud company Alibaba Cloud said on Tuesday it plans to invest $283 million this year to make better partnerships and enhance its technology in the post-coronavirus era.

General Manager of the company's South Asian unit, Alex Li, said that "Alibaba Cloud has cultivated strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators like Infosys to drive business growth in India, China and the rest of the world," adding that the company remains "committed to working and cultivating partnerships with Global System Integrators across several areas including sales, delivery, technology and services."

The company added it hopes that with this investment it will leverage its technology capabilities and enhance its platform offering for customers.
