Europe higher in premarket after China data

Shares on major European stock markets were higher during premarket trading on Tuesday. Stocks were lifted by positive economic data from China as manufacturing activity in the world's second-largest economy picked up in June.

Meanwhile, investors kept watch over the coronavirus pandemic, particularly the resurgence of the virus in several US states.

The DAX was up 0.70% at 7:30 am CET. The FTSE 100 gained 0.40%. The CAC 40 rose 0.26% in Paris. At the same time, the euro declined 0.08% against the dollar, buying 1.12331.
