Seasons don't seem to be affecting COVID-19 - WHO

The World Health Organization stated on Tuesday that the change of seasons does not seem to have an impact on the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the mass gatherings are likely to have the biggest effect when it comes to transmission of the virus.

In addition, the pandemic will only have one "big wave" that will "going to go up and down a bit," the WHO said.

Previously, the organization's Executive Director Mike Ryan asserted that, at the current pace, coronavirus vaccine could allow people to start getting vaccinated in the first part of 2021.
