Sajid Javid joins JPMorgan as senior advisor

Former United Kingdom Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid has been hired as a senior advisor at JPMorgan Chase, the Evening Standard reported on Monday citing an internal email the bank sent to its staff.

Javid, who previously worked for the lender before going into politics, will remain a member of Parliament and "operate under strict curbs on revealing internal government policy," according to the report.

In February, the Tory MP resigned from Boris Johnson's government after rejecting the prime minister's request to fire his special advisers.
