Twitter flags Trump's post for policy violation

Twitter has labeled on Sunday a post made by United States President Donald Trump in which he criticized the mail-in voting process, saying the use of mail drop boxes for the presidential elections isn't secure nor sanitary. "This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about civic and election integrity," the description noted, but still, the post was left online due to "public interest."

"So now the Democrats are using Mail Drop Boxes, which are a voter security disaster. Among other things, they make it possible for a person to vote multiple times. Also, who controls them, are they placed in Republican or Democrat areas? They are not Covid sanitized. A big fraud!" Trump wrote on Twitter earlier in the day.

Previously, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy asserted the Postal Service can deliver all main-in ballots for the upcoming elections, which was followed by the approval of a $25 billion bill in the House of Representatives to fund the USPS. Meanwhile, the GOP is advocating against the mail-in voting system.
