US higher premarket ahead of Dow reshuffle

Major stock market indexes in the United States were in the green in premarket trade on Monday ahead of the Dow Jones Industrial Average reshuffle. ExxonMobil Corp., Pfizer Inc., Raytheon Technologies Corp. are set to exit Dow Jones at the Wall Street opening bell. Also at the open, Apple Inc. stocks will start trading on a split-adjusted basis. In other business news, Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway made the acquisition of holdings in five Japanese trading houses.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.26% at 4:25 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 rose by 0.36%. The S&P 500 gained 0.32% a minute later.

The euro dipped 0.09% versus the dollar, selling for $1.18942 at 4:27 am ET.
