Nasdaq turns red dragged by Tesla, Apple

The Nasdaq 100 turned to losses on Wednesday after having started the session in the green. The index was pulled down by Tesla Inc. and Apple Inc., whose stock splits have recently taken effect, prompting the outside shareholders to cut their stakes.

The Nasdaq 100 lost 0.47% at 11:55 am ET, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average concurrently advanced by 0.70%.

At the same time, the S&P 500 was up by 0.55%. The euro declined by 0.66% against the dollar, selling for $1.18344 at 11:58 am ET.
