Europe higher ahead of central bankers' speeches

Major European stock market indexes opened higher on Tuesday as investors shrugged off some coronavirus pandemic fears from the previous session and focused on the comments from central bankers due later in the day. Meanwhile, a report claimed that the United Kingdom and the European Union would continue their Brexit talks despite the Internal Market Bill.

The DAX was up 0.71% at 9:02 am CET as Delivery Hero jumped 3.70% at 9:04 am CET. The CAC 40 was 0.37% in the green in the first minute of the trading session as Safran increased by 2.10% at 9:01 am CET. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.43% at 9:00 am CET, with Kingfisher gaining 1.89% at the same time.

The euro lost 0.21% against the dollar to go for 1.17460 at 9:03 am CET and the pound declined 0.20% compared to the greenback at the same time to change hands for 1.27906.
