Heat advance to NBA Finals after beating Celtics

The Miami Heat reached the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014 as they defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals 125-113 to clinch the series (4-2).

Bam Adebayo led Erik Spoelstra's team to the first Finals appearance in six years with 32 points and 14 rebounds, while Jimmy Butler scored 22 points to go along with eight assists. Boston had four players who scored 20-plus points in the game with Jalen Brown as the team's top scorer with 26 points.

The Miami Heat will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals that is set to kick off on Wednesday at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake near Orlando, Florida.
