Tampa Bay Lightning win Stanley Cup

The Tampa Bay Lightning beat on Monday the Dallas Stars in Game 6 of the NHL Finals (2-0) to clinch the series (4-2) and win the second Stanley Cup in the franchise's history.

Brayden Point gave the Lightning a lead in the first period after converting powerplay in the 13th minute. In the 8th minute of the second period, Blake Coleman scored the second goal for the Tampa Bay, paving the path for Jon Cooper's team to win its first NFL title since 2004.

Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 22 shots to help the Lightning keep a clean sheet and secure the victory.
