SCOTUS rules against Alabama curbside voting

United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) ruled against an order made by a lower court that would have allowed curbside voting in Alabama on Election Day.

Reportedly, a lower court judge previously ordered that the ban on casting ballots curbside that was in place previously be lifted with the aim of protecting the voting rights of people with disabilities.

The SCOTUS justices voted 5-3 in favor of blocking the order, with all five conservative justices supporting the reinstatement of the ban.
