Unilever reports turnover of €12.9B in Q3

Unilever plc revealed on Thursday that its turnover in the third quarter of 2020 amounted to €12.9 billion, marking a 2.4% decrease from the same period a year before. During the same three months, the firm's underlying sales increased by 4.4%.

The consumer goods firm added that its quarterly dividend payable in November stood unchanged at €0.4104 per share.

"The environment we are operating in will remain unpredictable in the near term, so we will continue to maintain the speed and agility of our response. Our focus remains volume-led competitive growth, delivering absolute profit and free cash flow," Unilever CEO Alan Jope asserted in a statement.
