Trump fires US cybersecurity chief

Sitting United States President Donald Trump revealed he had decided to fire Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Christopher Krebs, due to an allegedly inaccurate statement on the security of the 2020 election made by the official.

The head of state claimed that there were "massive improprieties and fraud" in the election process and condemned Krebs for his agency rejecting any irregularities being found.

Trump explained on Twitter he believes the election included "dead people voting, Poll Watchers not allowed into polling locations, 'glitches' in the voting machines which changed votes from Trump to Biden, late voting, and many more."
