Diego Maradona dies aged 60

One of the greatest football players of all time and ex-Argentinian national team coach, Diego Armando Maradona, died after suffering a cardiac arrest, Argentinian newspaper Clarin reported on Wednesday.

Earlier this month, the 60-year-old coach was discharged from a hospital in Buenos Aires as he underwent a surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain.

During his professional career, Maradona played for Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla and Newell's Old Boys, while he is being considered one of the most sucessfull players ever on international level as he led Argentina to the FIFA World Cup title in 1986. Meanwhile, he managed Racing, Al-Wasl, Fujairah, Dorados de Sinaloa, Gimnasia La Plata and Argentinian national team.
