Europe closes mixed amid Thanksgiving

European markets closed mixed on Thursday mostly due to the reason that the US markets were closed because of Thanksgiving Day. Also, economic data pointed to a slowdown in Eurozone's economic recovery according to the European Central Bank's October monetary policy meeting account. The bank stated that the coronavirus pandemic could leave lasting effects.

The DAX grew by 0.12% with the Deutsche Boerse rising by 1.86%. The CAC 40 stood flat as Essilorluxottica grew by 1.94%. In London, the FTSE 100 closed by 0.45% down. Persimmon Plc. was the worst performer plunging by 4.94%,

The euro fell by 0.13% against the dollar at 5:30 pm CET, buying 1.19081. The pound went down by 0.41% versus the greenback, to go for 1.33356 at the time.
