Moderna files for EUA for its COVID-19 vaccine

Moderna confimed on Monday that it filed a request with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the emergency use authorization (EUA) for its COVID-19 vaccine.

Data on its mRNA-1273 vaccine has been submitted, the company stressed.

Earlier in the day, Moderna said its vaccine had an efficacy of 94% and said it would be filing EUA documentation later in the day.
