Salesforce Q3 revenue at $5.42B, up 20% Inc. revealed on Tuesday that its revenue amounted to $5.42 billion in the third quarter of fiscal 2021, beating analysts' expectations and marking a 20% increase compared to the previous year's corresponding trimester.

Gross profit stood at $4.03 billion, while third-quarter GAAP diluted earnings per share were $1.15, and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share were $1.74.

"We had another record quarter, and now we’re raising our FY21 revenue guidance to $21.11 billion at the high end and initiating FY22 guidance of $25.5 billion. No other major enterprise software company is growing at this rate," Chair and CEO of Salesforce Marc Benioff noted in the press release.

The company's stock fell by 3.60% in after-hours trading following the release of the report.
