US stocks open higher following record rally

Major stock indexes in the United States opened again on record highs on Tuesday following yesterday's rally that drove the major averages to record highs. The rise came after US President Donald Trump signed a $900 billion coronavirus relief package into law. Also, he again called for the Senate to agree to raise the amount of money intended for individual stimulus checks to American citizens from $600 to $2,000. On the data front, prices of homes in all nine United States census divisions increased by 8.4% in October.

The Dow Jones started the session at 0.48% in the green with Walgreens Boots Alliance growing up by 1.27%. Pinduoduo was the best performer rising by 5.08% a minute later. The S&P 500 was up 0.54% at 9:30 am ET as Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd rising by 1.86%. The Nasdaq 100 added 0.51% at the open. Moderna was jumping by 2.25%.

The euro traded 0.35% higher compared to the dollar, selling for 1.22565 at 9:28 am ET.
