US turns negative as pandemic concerns persist

Equities on Wall Street turned to losses in premarket trade with investors' worries over the coronavirus pandemic remaining in focus. The United States registered over 20.8 million infections and more than 353,000 virus-caused deaths as COVID-19 figures continue to surge on a daily basis. On the business front, the New York Stock Exchange LLC said it "no longer intends to move forward with the delisting action" against China Telecom Corp. Ltd., China Mobile Ltd. and China Unicom Ltd.
