Unilever's turnover slides 4.2% to €12.1B in Q4

Unilever plc unveiled on Thursday that its turnover in the final quarter of 2020 came in at €12.1 billion, marking a 4.2% decrease compared to the same period a year before. For the entire 2020, the figure declined by 2.4% to land at €50.7 billion.

The consumer goods company's underlying sales grew by 3.5% in the fourth trimester, and 1.9% in 2020, while its quarterly dividend payable in March stood at €0.4268 per share.

"In a volatile and unpredictable year, we have demonstrated Unilever's resilience and agility through the Covid-19 pandemic. I would like to thank the Unilever team, whose dedication and hard work has delivered a strong set of results under the most difficult of circumstances," Unilever CEO Alan Jope commented.
