Johnson unveils England's path out of lockdown

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Monday the government's plan for England's path out of coronavirus-related lockdown that has lasted since the start of the year.

Johnson said that non-essential shops and hospitality venues wouldn't reopen before April 12, with indoor households mixing restricted until May 17. People will be recommended to work from home until June 21.

The monthly review will be followed by COVID-19 vaccine rollout, Johnson said, adding that the first vaccine dose should be offered to all adults in England by the end of July. A report from earlier today also revealed that schools would open on March 8, and outdoor gatherings of up to six people allowed from March 29.
