Fauci: CDC could relax rules for vaccinated people

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) could "pretty soon" issue less strict coronavirus-related recommendations for people that have been vaccinated against COVID-19, White House Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci stated on Tuesday.

Speaking in a CNN interview, he noted that the severity of guidelines may be reduced "particularly when you're dealing with something like your own personal family, when people have been vaccinated."

Last week, America's top epidemiologist warned that wearing face masks may be necessary even in 2022, but added that "a significant degree of normality" could be reached by the end of this year.
